Reach the island by car
From the North:Highway A12 Genoa – Livorno, exit Rosignano. Proceed along the Aurelia to Venturina – Isola d’Elba and continue to Piombino Marittima.
From the North-East: Highway A1 Bologna – Florence West, then A11 to Pisa North, then A12, exit Rosignano. Continue on the SS Aurelia until Venturina – Isola d ‘Elba and from here to Piombino Marittima.
Alternatively, take the s.g.c. Florence – Pisa – Livorno, exit Firenze Scandicci and follow the road until Collesalvetti, then take the Rosignano A12, then you take the highway to Venturina and Piombino. From the South: S.S. Aurelia uscita Venturina-Isola d’Elba, proseguire per Piombino Marittima.
Reach the island by train
Piombino is only slightly from the Campiglia Marittima train station. Which connects Rome with Grosseto and Livorno with Pisa.

Reach the island by plane
Elba Island has also an airport in La Pila, near Marina di Campo. There are 3 airlines at the airport, which connectt Elba with national and international airports: Silver Air, Jetfly (charter flights) and Zimex.

Reach to the Hotel and Restaurant Villa Rita
By car from the port of Portoferraio (about 36 km from Colle d’Orano) :
Via Marina di Campo : From the port follow indications for Procchio. Once in Procchio turn left at the petrol station and follow directions to Marina di Campo/Fetovaia/Chiessi. On arrival in Marina di Campo head for Fetovaia, Pomonte and Chiessi. About 4,5 km after Chiessi, you arrive in Colle d’Orano and you will find the entrance to the hotel on your right.Immediately after the road sign indicating the beginning of the town, on your right you will find the entrance to our hotel. The loading and unloading car park is at the top of the hill.
Via Marciana Marina: From the port follow indications for Procchio. Once in Procchio head straight on to Marciana Marina. Follow indications for Marciana, Zanca, Patresi. 200m after the square of Colle d’Orano, on your left you will see the car park of the hotel. There is a second car park nearest the reception entrance, just follow the signs of the hotel. Both roads are more or less of the same length. We suggest you take the one via Marina di Campo/Fetovaia for a easier ride with fewer bends. The journey through Marciana Marina has more hills and turns, but the ride is as much panoramic and beautiful as the one via Marina di Campo.
IN AUTOBUS OR TAXI
Near the port of Portoferraio is the taxi station (tel 0565 915 112) and CTT Bus station (toll free 800 317 709) that provide connection over the island. In the summer, from June to September there is a bus every hour to and from Portoferraio that travel throughout the western ring; ideal for those who want to leave the car at the hotel and get to the beaches by bus! The CCT Bus stop Hotel Villa Rita – Colle d’Orano – Line 116 is directly in front of the etrance to our hotel.You can buy single tickets, return or season tickets at the hotel.
